The fabulous team at Drift, Clifford Street, York delivered a fantastic 18th Birthday party for our daughter - just wow, wow, wow!! The venue space was superb, covered all our requirements and was beautifully decorated. The buffet food was wholesome and perfect, the cocktails and bar inspired, and the special birthday cake absolutely delectable! The generosity, care and attention from the outset was exemplary and so much appreciated. My daughter and her friends enjoyed a party celebration, most appropriate and fitting, for a young lady at a such a memorable milestone. All our gratitude to Rosa and The Drift, Clifford Street Team for making this possible! We look forward to seeing them all again and for another party celebration in the future!

Brilliant gluten and dairy free options which is nice to see with such a limited number of options in York. Highly recommend tuna melt. Quality service and a lovely cafe to sit in for food/drink. 5 stars

What a fantastic place. Fabulous food. Huge portions. Pleasant staff. Excellent value for money! Steak sandwich was the best ever. Locally sourced steak. Can't praise this place enough! As Arnie said " I'll.be back"

Went here 2 weeks ago for a treat with my two lads (age 21 and 17) ordered 3 full English breakfasts and drinks.Breakfast was a pure joy, I savored every mouthful!Keep sourcing the ingredients you use, and keep your chef happy... Your doing everything right!The girls upstairs provided amazing service, nothing was too much trouble.. "Jelly" even measured 100ml of freshly squeezed apple juice for me to take to my husband, who was in hospital with strict fluid restrictions in place.This was enjoyed by my husband, later that day.... Thanks Jelly!Perfect start to the day, and a much needed treat for us all

The food in this place is incredible! We had poached eggs on toast, berry granola bowl and peanut butter on toast! Beautifully presented and really generous portion sizes! Great atmosphere, nice and relaxing. Staff super Pleasant and all reasonable prices. Coffee and smoothie were excellent too! Highly recommend.

Lovely staff and incredible French toast. The best I’ve had. Fluffy and tasty.Also a generous portion of salmon with the smashed avocado.
